How GROW works
GROW is delivered through an initial discovery process and four interactive workshops, structured around our development journey:
Our development journey
DISCOVER (Pre-work)
Personal reflection
Building self-awareness and understanding personal context
Before the workshops begin, participants engage in guided reflection to explore their current challenges, priorities, and wellbeing. Where appropriate, we also connect with individuals to better understand their context and ensure the programme is aligned to their needs. This stage creates space for honest reflection and sets the foundation for meaningful, personal development.
Workshop 1: AWARE
Understanding wellbeing, identity, and what helps us thrive
The first workshop focuses on developing self-awareness and understanding what wellbeing means at an individual level. Participants explore the factors that influence their wellbeing, the conditions that help them perform at their best, and the role values, identity, and emotions play in everyday life. The session creates a foundation for personal growth by helping individuals better understand themselves and their needs.
Workshop 2: RELATE
Understanding relationships, boundaries and external influences
Our wellbeing is shaped by the people around us. This workshop explores how relationships, expectations, boundaries, and external pressures influence how we think, feel, and behave. Participants gain insight into how they relate to others, recognise patterns that may be affecting their wellbeing, and develop greater awareness of what healthy relationships look like.
Workshop 3: DEVELOP
Building resilience, managing energy and creating positive change
The third workshop focuses on taking action. Participants explore practical approaches to managing stress, preventing burnout, and building resilience. Through reflection and discussion, they identify strategies that support their wellbeing and begin building a personal toolkit that can be used to navigate challenges both at work and in life.
Workshop 4: ACT
Creating sustainable wellbeing habits and a personal plan for success
The final workshop brings together the learning from the programme and focuses on creating sustainable habits for the future. Participants explore a range of wellbeing practices and techniques, identify what works best for them, and create a personalised wellbeing plan that supports their continued growth, resilience, and performance.
SHARE (Final Stage)
Personal Commitment
Reflecting, sharing, and committing to ongoing growth
In this final stage, participants reflect on their journey- what they’ve learned, how they’ve developed, and what they are committing to moving forward. By sharing insights and intentions, this stage reinforces accountability and helps embed meaningful, lasting change.
Why it works
By combining coaching and counselling principles, GROW supports both performance and wellbeing as interconnected.
With the grounding of BACP-accredited counselling practice, individuals are supported in a way that is safe, reflective, and genuinely impactful.
